My connection to clay started when I was a child, as I experienced my parent's divorce, clay became the way to mend something that was broken; whenever I felt the cracks of divorce creep into my family unit I could escape to the studio and imagine mending the pieces back together using clay.
As I grew up, I became fascinated with connecting things that usually seem unmatchable, like man and nature. Another connection I explored was the connection between my two heritages; the Moroccan and French cultures that are part of my history, I use clay to find ways to make peace between the two.
I myself, embody these two cultures together while living an Israeli life.
